The Halton Industry Education Council is committed to reaching out to the community in order to better foster the relationship between business, industry and education. HIEC's annual, semi-annual and one-time events help connect youth with career opportunity, honour the hard working people who make HIEC better each and every year and increase HIEC's profile in the community, allowing us to connect with more youth.

HIEC's events range from the career fair Careers Unlimited to our semi-annual Breakfast with the Mayors event, where all those who have contributed to HIEC are showcased and honoured. Also notable is the annual HAAC Honour Roll, which gives recognition to those companies which have demonstrated support for the skilled trades in Halton.
