Enlightening keynote speaker a big part of successful event

The Halton Industry Education Council once again had Breakfast with the Mayors on June 15. This year, HIEC celebrated its 15th anniversary with an event that included an elaborate multimedia presentation, testimony from students who have been involved with HIEC programs over the last year, plus the traditional recap of recent events put on by the organization and its partners. The event was a tremendous success, and a fitting exclamation mark to HIEC's first fifteen years of operation.

One of the morning's highlights was unquestionably the presentation given by keynote speaker Max Valiquette. Max is the president of Youthography, a leading youth-driven marketing consultancy. He spoke about current youth demographics and the evolving attitudes in youth towards the workforce and the paths that will get them there. His presentation provided a wealth of information, relevant to both teachers, students and business leaders.
